Huco Candyfloss pink 1950s/ 1960s vintage day dress in a rose embroidered cotton/linen mix light woven fabric.
Although the style is 50’s the dress is likely to be more recent 1960’s.
Made in Switzerland.
The shape is very fitted in the bodice with a slightly dropped waistline. The hem falls below the knee.
Details include the 3/4 sleeves, peter-pan collars and transparent front buttons.
The fabric has a slight stiffness and so the skirt hangs with fullness to the shape.
(There is no fabric label but the open weave look and texture suggest a high linen content mixed with cotton)
The old vintage size label is 40. In my opinion the fit is a like an S / UK 8
