1950s original black cocktail dress in a see-through mesh fabric with black spots in the weave. The full skirt has a stiffened wide hem to support the structure.
There is no size label. In my opinion the fit is a UK 10/12.
The dress can be worn with appropriate underwear or a slip and petticoats. A belt or sash would also improve the shape.
The garment is a light weight.
