Edward Mann vintage 1960's bucket hat in camel brown wool felt and leopard print faux fur.
The hat has height and structure although it is crushable and lightweight.
*Edward Mann was a celebrated London based Milliner in the 1960s designing the hats worn by style icon Diana Rigg as 'Emma Peel' in the hit TV series “The Avengers”
His hats feature in the Victoria & Albert Museum Collection.
A bit of history….
This hat was purchased as part of the extensive wardrobe belonging to an astute woman of fashion (I call her Leopard Lady as she loved leopard print) who lived to 100 years. Her daughter informed me that up until the age of 70 she always wore heels, hats and a handbag and was recognized and admired in her local high street in the Midlands.
The collection purchased includes coats, blouses, dresses, bags, hats (Large fit) and shoes (size 39 / 40) which will all be listed for sale.
