Leather Upper - Leather Lined - Rigid inflexible (Composite) Soles.
The sandals fasten with a buckle strap. The soles are a bit like solid wood soles -totally inflexible and so will NOT suit many feet. It is a skill (or at least blessing) to be capable of walking elegantly in these type of shoes. While standing and wearing them with thick socks ....I have to say, I looked pretty good!
Note on Size
These shoes have been tried on to ascertain the modern day size accurately.
The size label is 9M. They fit like a WIDE FIT modern day 39 / UK 6. I am a regular UK 6 and although the length was fine. I would need a cushioned insole or a thick pair of socks to stop my feet slipping around in these shoes.

Good Condition with some black linear marks on patents leather covered soles. Joins of the leather coverings are visible as seen in the photos. More of a sitting down shoe rather than walking (any distance). See details in listing
