Condition of Items
We know that you cannot inspect before buying online so we ensure that the vintage items we offer are in the best quality condition. It should however be understood that ALL vintage items have been previously owned and so generally will show signs of use or ageing.
For example, the following imperfections are common;
Small scratches, slight fading/discolouration on metal parts
Small marks, discolourations and nicks on leather
Small stains, snags, slight discolourations on fabrics and less than perfect linings on clothing
We do not consider these imperfections as defects as they are simply in the nature of “vintage”.
To assist you in understanding the condition of an item, we state whether an item is in Immaculate, Excellent, Very Good, or simply Good condition.
Immaculate: Although a used item, this item is “like new”, there are no obvious signs of wear and no flaws.
Excellent: Excellent used condition, very little signs of wear.
Very Good: Well cared for item, some signs of wear, only very minor imperfections which are only visible on a close inspection.
Good: Good vintage condition, some signs of wear, has some visible minor flaws which are noted in the description.
Please read in detail the description of items and contact us in advance of a purchase if you have any queries or concerns.
